Welcome to Derbyshire Learner Support Network’s website. It is designed to support and promote training providers across Derbyshire who deliver learning opportunities to LLDD (Learners with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities) clients.

Derbyshire Learning & Development Consortium, secured funding from Derbyshire Learning and Skills Council in order to improve communications between providers who deliver to the same client groups across Derbyshire, thus encouraging collaborative working and avoiding duplication.

The aim of Derbyshire Learner Support Network is to provide training providers with the most up-to-date information on legislation, issues, resources, progression opportunities and courses available Derbyshire-wide to the LLDD client group.

This resource will allow you as providers to source appropriate courses on behalf of your learners with or without them present. It will also provide you with progression routes available to enable you to offer your learner a parity of choice.

As the leading body, we are constantly looking to develop this site and would encourage you as providers to keep us informed and up-to-date with any changes in your provision so that we can provide an effective service.
